Mini has revealed the first official images of the new generation of the John Cooper Works, a model that will make its first appearance at this year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
The British brand has already announced that all technical specifications will be revealed next autumn, when the global debut will take place.
For now, the Mini hot hatch comes with a more aggressive look, featuring a more prominent grille flanked by new and generous air intakes. At the rear, the diffuser and roof spoiler deserve a mention.
The images now revealed by Mini show the renewed model, with custom camouflaged paint designed by the brand’s design team, paying homage to the iconic red and white color schemes used in classic Minis in 1960s motorsport.
Furthermore, the model features the number 37, in a clear reference to the historic victory of the Mini with the Cooper S in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally. This emblem serves as a tribute to Mini’s rich tradition in motorsport.
