This year’s Argentina MotoGP will not take place. The race was originally scheduled for April 5th to 7th and will not be replaced, despite the Hungarian GP being a reserve event.
The decision was announced in a statement that reads: ‘Due to the current circumstances in Argentina, the Promoter of the event has communicated that it is currently unable to guarantee the services required for the Grand Prix to take place in 2024 at MotoGP standards’.
Thus, it is the fifth consecutive year in which at least one of the scheduled rounds is canceled for different reasons. Dorna also announced that it ‘hopes to return’ to Argentina and Termas de Río Hondo next year.
