CAROLINA PANTHERS STAR SETH JARVIS SHUNS NHL ALL-STAR GAME FOR MEXICAN GETAWAY
Carolina Panthers forward Seth Jarvis has once again proven why he’s the NHL’s most entertaining player. During a recent media availability, Jarvis made it clear that he’s not one to conform to the norm.
While most players dream of participating in the NHL All-Star Game, Jarvis took a different approach. Despite not being selected by the league, he had a chance to make it to the game through a fan vote. However, he shocked everyone by urging fans not to vote for him.
“I’ve got a non-refundable trip now. I’m totally set on warm weather, but I still do appreciate all the effort,” Jarvis nonchalantly stated, making it clear that he had no intention of attending the game.
Instead of freezing in Toronto, where the temperature barely reached 37 degrees, Jarvis jetted off to Mexico for a well-deserved vacation. While some may question his commitment to the sport, Jarvis insisted that he spent most of his time in the gym, taking care of his body.
When asked if he had indulged in any alcoholic beverages during his time in Mexico, Jarvis initially denied it, claiming he doesn’t drink. However, a mischievous smile betrayed his true intentions.
“I hope I sweated out all the beer,” Jarvis joked, causing laughter among the gathered media. It’s clear that he had a fantastic time south of the border, and he certainly deserved the break.
Seth Jarvis continues to defy expectations both on and off the ice. His unique personality and refusal to conform make him a fan favorite. We can’t wait to see what he does next.
