Nicolò Bulega ended this sunday of WSBK with the second place in Misano, a result that left the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati very happy, given this was is first time riding his bike in this category at the circuit. The italian got to lead also the Superpole Race, and the Race 2,which added more value to his performance.
The rider was super happy with the way he performed at home, where he couldn’t get the dream that would be winning: ‘I am thrilled. Competing for the first time in Misano with the Superbike and finishing all races in second place is, without a doubt, a great result, even though winning would have been a dream’.
He also left a word to the winner of not only the day, but for the whole round, Toprak Razgatlioglu: ‘Anyway, I have to say congratulations to Toprak because he has been really fast. Now we will head to Donington, a circuit that I like a lot’.
Bulega is now second in the world championship, overcoming his teammate and two time world champion Álvaro Bautista.
