Next week, Valencia will host the official Formula E preseason tests, and Nissan has already unveiled the new colors for the 2023 season. Oliver Rowland and Sacha Fenestraz will continue to be the drivers, but Luca Ghiotto and Victor Martins will also take part in Valencia as part of the rookie day.
The Nissan car is presented in red and white, with cherry blossom graphics that pay homage to Japanese history. And it is with these colors that Nissan will face, at home, the first ever ePrix in Japan, scheduled for March 30th on the streets of Tokyo.
Nissan entered Formula E in the 2018/2019 season, replacing Renault, which is part of the same group. The first victory came from Sébastien Buemi in that very season at the New York ePrix, and since then there have been a total of 11 podium finishes – the latest being a second place at this year’s Rome ePrix by Norman Nato. There is also another victory to note, achieved by Rowland at the Berlin ePrix in 2020.
