Ducati dominated the MotoGP tests in Sepang, once again demonstrating a certain supremacy in MotoGP as has been the case in recent seasons. However, opponents seem to be closing in and will benefit from the new concession system to compete with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.
Michele Pirro, Ducati’s test rider, said to GPOne.com it’s a normal process and there may be more balance in 2024, admitting that Ducati’s goal is to remain in the position they are in for as long as possible:
– It’s normal, and that’s exactly it, it’s part of evolution. As Ducati, we have been chasing for years and now that we have reached an excellent level, we hope to stay there for as long as possible, but we know that competition, also thanks to the new concessions, will make the championship very interesting this year.
