It’s official, the Indian Grand Prix has been postponed until 2025. The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports announce that the Indian Grand Prix will not take place in 2024, with MotoGP postponing its return to the country until early 2025 due to operational considerations.
Following the advice of the Uttar Pradesh Government, as the state continues its long-term commitment to MotoGP™, the sport will return to the Buddh International Circuit in March 2025, when weather conditions are expected to be optimal for both spectators and riders.
With this change, there is still no information on whether there will be a GP to replace it. If there were, it would be interesting to put the Portuguese GP on the table, as it has replaced other GPs in the past.
