Opel has announced that in 2024 it will introduce new generations of its light commercial vehicles (LCV) Combo, Vivaro, in medium size, and Movano, in large size.
Among the news, the German brand has stated that each model will feature a new exterior style and a redesigned interior, while the electric versions, with a battery, will continue to offer a benchmark autonomy in their segment.
In addition, Opel announced that the new Movano will also be available as a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle in the near future.
The next light commercial vehicles of the brand with the Blitz will feature the new interpretation of the brand’s visual identity, the Opel Vizor, known from the brand’s latest passenger cars. The Vizor integrates the brand’s emblem with the characteristic front lighting systems, creating a single visual unit that extends across the entire front of the vehicle.
In addition to the exterior design, the interiors of the new Opel Combo, Vivaro, and Movano have undergone further development. The highlights of the renovated interiors include new infotainment systems with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connections, with color touch screens of up to 10”.
The 100% electric versions of the new Combo, Vivaro, and Movano will continue to offer a similar use to their respective combustion engine variants.
The new range of Opel light commercial vehicles will maintain a wide range of advanced driver assistance systems. In addition, the new models will be available in various lengths, heights, and body types, while maintaining their cargo volumes and towing capacities.
The Rüsselsheim brand has announced that in the coming weeks it will reveal more details about the new generation of its light commercial vehicles, including the range of available engines.
