It is with confidence that Pedro Acosta is hoping to return to his best level at Sachsenring, after a round at Assen where he didn’t get the best result after crashing. Now he believes that the german track will be more suitable for his KTM RC16.
On the preview of the next round, the GASGAS Tech3 rider recalled what happened in Netherlands: ‘We are heading to Sachsenring, a track where I have a bit more luck in general, and I think that it will suit our bike better. Our weekend in Assen was not bad overall, we were able to do a good race and be competitive until the crash, on a track that is normally not one of my best’.
The way he will get on track, he assures, will be just like he is used to: ‘Our approach in Germany will be the same as usual, step by step on a new track, so let’s see how we feel on Friday first! I am looking forward to it, let’s have a good one before the summer break!’.
Acosta is still the best rider with a KTM on the championship standings, being 6th with 101 points, two more than his future teammate, Brad Binder.
