After a brief one-week break following the MotoGP British GP, Pedro Acosta took the opportunity to train in Spain.
According to SPEEDWEEK.com, the Red Bull GasGas rookie, who was joined by several Moto2 riders, tested a KTM with an unfaired bodywork and a 990cc engine producing 140 hp at the Aragón circuit.
On the other hand, TodoCircuito.com reports that Acosta also recently trained at the Aspar circuit with an adapted KTM RC 990 R, featuring the production version of the twin-cylinder engine.
The KTM RC 990 R, set to be released next year, will be a high-performance sports bike. It features an LC8c engine capable of delivering 103 Nm of torque and approximately 126 hp, along with various aerodynamic solutions derived from MotoGP. The bike is built with a steel frame and an aluminum subframe, and its suspension is supplied by WP.
