The automotive market in Portugal grew 7.8% in the first semester of 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, and among the brands, Peugeot maintained its leadership.
According to the data from the Portuguese Automobile Association (ACAP), Peugeot led the sales of passenger cars with 11,563 registered units in the first semester, ahead of Renault with 8,649 units and Mercedes-Benz with 8,633 commercialized passenger vehicles.
In the month of June, Peugeot once again was the best-selling brand in the passenger vehicle market with 1,752 units, and the second best-selling brand among light commercial vehicles, registering 509 units.
