Pol Espargaro spoke of some differences in the way of working that he lived when he first went to Honda, back in 2021, compared to what he was used to in KTM. He now got further into this subject.
In an interview with Motosan, Espargaro said that the information among riders wasn’t shared, something very different from what he was used to. With this in mind, he said: ‘The problem is that they are used to this method of working. We have seen that every year, the japanese brands with the best riders, with walls inside the box. And if we look at the new European factories, it is completely the opposite’.
And continued: ‘The information is shared, all the riders have the information of their teammate, and that’s not a problem, it’s an advantage to grow and improve. Once you get to the top, you can play with that a little bit; you can, to be a bit more of a ‘whore’ than your teammate to have a bit more information. But to get to the top, you need to work hard’.
