A Polestar and Google unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, new features of the Android Auto operating system that will be available on the Polestar 2.
Among the new features, highlights include the ability for users to plan trips on Google Maps on their mobile phone and send the route to the car’s infotainment system.
In addition, the Polestar 2 will debut a beta version of the Chrome browser, which according to the brand will allow drivers to have a familiar and intuitive browsing experience while parked.
“Since the launch of the Polestar 2 more than three years ago, we have been witnessing the expansion of the Android Automotive operating system ecosystem, with the introduction of a long list of new applications and features”, said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar.
