A Nissan X-Trail with e-4orce all-wheel drive system successfully completed its participation in the Baja de Aragón, which took place in Spain at the end of July.
The vehicle, entered by a small team of engineers from Nissan’s technical center in Barcelona, successfully covered over 500 kilometers in demanding terrain.
The success of the X-Trail in this event was due to the e-Power system with the advanced e-4orce all-wheel drive system from Nissan, which provides traction and safe performance in all conditions.
Designed to work exclusively with electrified powertrains, it monitors available traction 1000 times per second, constantly adjusting power distribution to ensure that the X-Trail remains stable in all conditions.
The X-Trail was entered in the “Open” category, with the possibility of participating in next year’s event in the “Stock” category, for vehicles with standard production specifications, including hybrids.
