Since the extreme pressure exerted on Mick Schumacher in 2022 – a year that ended with his departure from the team and Formula 1 – Ralf Schumacher has not refrained from criticizing Haas. And now he once again criticizes the American team and its team boss Günther Steiner in particular.
After the Las Vegas GP, the team boss said that, despite not scoring points, he was pleased to see both drivers doing their best with the available material. Ralf Schumacher criticized this mentality, stating quoted by grandprix.com that it is not compatible with F1:
“The question is always what you want. Do you just want to be in Formula 1, making money, willing to accept the situation? That’s more like an Olympic attitude, where participating is everything. If they want to progress, then I think it is clear and obvious that it doesn’t work like that. It’s not enough for the current Formula 1.”
