Launched in 2017, the Range Rover Velar continues to show no signs of aging and maintains a set of qualities that make it, even today, one of the most versatile, luxurious, and captivating SUV models. From its always up-to-date design (winner of the ‘World Design of the Year’ award in 2018) to the excellence of its performance on the road and off-road, respecting the DNA of the British manufacturer.
The plug-in hybrid version P400e, updated this year, maintains the combination of a 2-liter turbo gasoline engine with 300 hp and an electric motor with 143 hp — for a total of 404 hp and 640 Nm —, but received a new 19.2 kWh lithium-ion battery as a replacement for the 13.6 kWh one, allowing for an increase in electric range by 11 km, to 64 km. All to be known about the renewed Range Rover Velar in another Straight to the Point conducted by Vítor Mendes for AutoGear.
