One of the MotoGP teams that still has both seats to fill for the 2025 season is Trackhouse Racing. The satellite team currently competes with Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández, both of whom are out of contract at the end of the season.
Options range from continuing with both riders to completely renewing the duo, with speculation mainly focused on Oliveira’s departure and Joe Roberts’ potential arrival from Moto2.
Carlo Pernat told MOW Mag that he believes Fernández will stay on one of the American team’s RS-GPs: ‘Raúl Fernández will stay there. I understand that he is Massimo Rivola’s obsession and that, even if they say otherwise, the top boss has already said he would like to give him a second chance in Aprilia’s satellite team. His results are improving, and in any case, the talent of this guy is not in question, so I think Rivola has also seen things well’.
The riders’ manager then commented that Jack Miller or Roberts could be options for the other Trackhouse bike: ‘For the other seat, the only one currently available is Jack Miller, and they are certainly talking, but it may also happen that they opt to focus on Joe Roberts by promoting him from Moto2. He is American, the team is American, and Liberty Media, which will become the owner of everything, is American. In short, the picture is somewhat complete’.
