Audi announced the arrival of the revamped Q8 to the national market, a revised version of the current generation of its largest SUV, which, like the Q8 e-tron, also received the expected mid-cycle update. An intervention that allows the model to have a more modern look and a renewed range of equipment, allowing it to not only be in line with the rest of the Ingolstadt brand’s offerings but also better equipped to face the competition in a demanding segment.
In the national market, the Q8 is available in two versions: the SQ8 TFSI quattro tiptronic with a power of 507 hp and a maximum torque of 770 Nm, with a recommended price of €157,701, and the Diesel 50 TDI quattro tiptronic version with 286 hp of power and 600 Nm of torque, with a price of €115,401.
The arrival of Plug-in hybrid versions to the national market is scheduled for next spring, with two engine options: the Q8 55 TFSIe, with 394 hp, and the Q8 60 TFSIe, with 490 hp.
In terms of design, the revamped Audi Q8 stands out with a front section marked by the octagonal Singleframe grille, larger air intakes, and headlights with a new signature and HD Matrix LED technology as an option. In the rear, the rectangular tailpipes of the new exhaust system and an equally renewed lighting signature stand out, which now includes a central strip connecting the taillights (which, as an option, and for the first time in the Q8, can be OLED type, offering four different lighting signatures selectable by the user).
On the other hand, in the cabin, it is possible to find several new decorative elements (from contrasting seat stitches, included from the access trim level, to carbon or aluminum applications), through the infotainment system with more available applications, allowing passengers, for the first time, to use, among others, Spotify or Amazon Music. As for the advanced driver assistance systems, particular highlight goes to the Audi virtual cockpit instrument panel with Full HD resolution, capable of displaying, in real time, based on online data, alerts regarding the distance to other vehicles on the road, assistance at intersections, and information about traffic lights.
