Rimac Automobili, a Croatian company that produces the 100% electric hypercar Nevera, which offers a power of 1903 hp and 2360 Nm of maximum torque, seems to be willing to bet on autonomous driving through the “Project 3 Mobility”, which will lead the Zagreb-based brand to reveal a robotaxi in 2024.
According to “Autocar”, Rimac’s robotaxi will be operational in 2026, and although the company has not disclosed many details about this new project, it has announced that it will have the support of Kia.
The founder and CEO of the Croatian company, Mate Rimac, revealed to the British publication that the robotaxi will be “a completely different car”. What is certain is that Rimac has been using a Renault Espace in tests for its new project, which may indicate the type of vehicle that Rimac’s robotaxi will be, aiming to contribute “to change the way people move in cities”.
