Nashville hosted another round of the AMA Supercross and with the 250 class to undergo a Showdown between the riders of the West and East region all together. In there there was a clear winner, RJ Hampshire, who dominated from the very first moment until the end.
The Husqvarna rider took the holeshot and from there on lead every single lap, ending the main event at the Nissan Stadium with a 3.663s gap over Jo Shimoda, with Tom Vialle to take another podium and being the best of the East region on track, while Jordon Smith and Jalek Swoll closed the top five.
In fact if the West riders took were faster overall, when looking at the top four, the truth is that the balance was clearly seen as after it was, foremost, East riders to take the following positions.
This win from Hampshire meant the lead of the West championship for the #24 who beat Levi Kitchen, now two points behind in the standings, while Smith is closer to Kitchen, but still 16 points behind.
As for the East region Vialle continued to build up on his lead, took the sixth consecutive podium and has now 13 points more than Haiden Deegan. Cameron McAdoo is three points behind Deegan.
