Marco Bezzecchi ended today’s San Marino GP qualifying with the second best time and will start from the second place from the front row. The italian considered this not to be an easy task, as he had some issues to deliver a proper fast lap.
The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider began by praising Jorge Martin’s job, before speaking of his own: ‘Jorge today was very fast so congratulations to him but, for my side, I’m very happy because for me wasn’t easy to make a good lap time, the pain is coming more and more. It was difficult but it was also very important but it was also very important so I’m very happy with the work we have done until now’.
The focus is now at the next race, in just a few hours: ‘For sure now, for the Sprint race, it will be even harder but I will try my best’.
