Fernando Alonso, the two-time Formula 1 world champion, has been involved in the sport since 2001. Despite being the oldest driver on the current grid, at 42 years old, Alonso continues to impress with his performance and has gained the respect of his peers. Red Bull’s Sergio Perez recently praised Alonso for his remarkable skills and his ability to defy age. Alonso, who is now with Aston Martin, has taken on a leadership role within the team. Perez believes that Alonso’s two-year break from F1 after 2018 has contributed to his prolonged career and high level of performance. Although he may not have the best car, Alonso has consistently challenged the top teams during qualifying and maximized the potential of the AMR24. With 19 Grand Prix events remaining on the calendar, there is a possibility of Alonso achieving a sensational victory in the 2024 F1 season.
