Skoda has announced that it has reached an important milestone in its electric mobility strategy with the production of the 200,000th unit of the Enyaq model.
The Czech brand revealed that the commemorative unit is a white Enyaq Coupé Sportline, which came off the production line on February 16th.
It is worth noting that the Enyaq marked Skoda’s entry into electric mobility, and is also the first model from the Czech brand based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electric Drive Platform (MEB).
In addition, Skoda recently updated the Enyaq range with more powerful and efficient engines, shorter charging times, increased range, and new software with an improved and more intuitive user interface.
“The Enyaq has led our electric mobility campaign, and the success of this range of vehicles shows that our strategy is on the right track,” said Andreas Dick, member of the executive committee responsible for production and logistics at Skoda Auto.
