Thanks to development concessions, Honda can use the maximum number of wildcards allowed for a constructor in MotoGP in 2024 – with six participations throughout the season.
So far, the Japanese manufacturer has fielded Stefan Bradl in two rounds – the Spanish and Catalan GPs, still in the first third of the season. And the remaining four wildcards are already planned.
Bradl was asked by GPOne.com if the plan is to use all available wildcards. In response, Bradl shared details: ‘Yes, at Sachsenring, Red Bull Ring, Misano, and Valencia’.
The rider also mentioned upcoming scheduled tests: ‘At the end of June, we will have some tests in Valencia. We have no testing restrictions, except that I cannot test at a GP track in the two weeks prior to the race if I have a wildcard for that Grand Prix’.
