The Golden State Warriors had a good run after a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers. Following the two-game winning streak, the Warriors were undoubtedly expected to win their matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.
Despite a 60-point performance from Stephen Curry, the Warriors suffered a 134-141 loss against the Hawks. Keeping the overtime loss in mind, many are expecting the Warriors to make some tough decisions around the NBA Trade Deadline.
However, as of now, there is no confirmation of whether the Warriors will make a blockbuster trade, and Stephen Curry shared his honest reaction to the NBA Trade Deadline via Anthony Slater on Twitter.
“Until it’s said otherwise or decisions are made, it’s up to us to go out and perform and hold our ground as a legitimate team that can win,” Curry said.
The Warriors are currently one of the worst teams in the NBA despite Stephen Curry having a great run this season. Not many will blame Curry if he expects the Warriors to make a blockbuster trade soon.
Instead of focusing on the NBA Trade Deadline, Curry showed true signs of leadership as he wanted the current roster of the team to give their best in order to win games.
Curry had one of the best games of the season by putting up 60 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in 41 minutes of playing time against the Hawks. However, Curry’s scoring outburst didn’t help the Warriors in avoiding a tough loss vs. the Hawks as they remain the 12th seed in the Western Conference.
