Ducati did not allow itself to relax in the face of last year’s dominance in MotoGP and promises a significantly different Desmosedici GP24 for the 2024 season – from the fairing to the engine, including the frame.
Gigi Dall’Igna, the general manager of Ducati Corse, spoke to the official championship website about what can be expected from the new bike, whose livery was unveiled this week:
– For sure we’ll have an engine that has some horsepower more than the last season. The aerodynamics of the bike will change quite a lot – you cannot see now because we’ll present the new fairing in the next test in Sepang. But for sure it will be quite different from what we’ve seen in the past. Also on the chassis’s point of view we made some steps. I’m quite curious to see what the others did during the winter and I hope our bike will be at a good level.
