KTM is investing even more strongly in MotoGP. Proof of this is the equalization of Tech3 with the factory team and the signing of Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales for the French team in 2025.
At this moment, the future quartet of riders from the Austrian team occupies the top seven positions in the championship: Bastianini is fourth just ahead of Pedro Acosta, with Viñales sixth and Brad Binder seventh.
Pit Beirer, director of KTM Motorsport, stated to GPOne.com that the goal is to go beyond this top four, aiming for the podium in the championship… and he is confident that it will be possible to achieve.
– Looking at the current standings, these four riders now occupy positions between fourth and seventh place, the goal is clearly the other three positions ahead. I think this project will be very competitive, also thanks to Dani Pedrosa and Pol Espargaró who continue to work on the development of the bike, as well as helping the riders themselves.
The German added: ‘Obviously there are no guarantees, but I feel that the lineup for 2025 will help us take that extra step to pursue our main objective in 2025’.
