Living Vehicle, a luxury RV maker from California, has unveiled their latest creation, the CyberTrailer. Inspired by the Cybertruck, this high-end mobile habitat is designed for off-grid adventures. While Living Vehicle has no affiliation with Tesla, they chose the Cybertruck as their muse for its impressive capabilities.
The CyberTrailer, set to be showcased later this summer, boasts a design reminiscent of the Cybertruck. It features a sizable solar array with panels on the sides and roof, allowing for electricity to power all appliances and even serve as a backup power source for the EV. Living Vehicle’s patented water generation system, advanced water and waste recycling, and water purification system will also be included, making it a self-sufficient living space.
With up to 5KW of solar energy production, the CyberTrailer’s capabilities are unmatched in the RV industry. Alongside the solar cells, customers will receive solar-tracking awnings that automatically adjust to capture the most energy throughout the day. This hybrid energy system, combining solar power and backup power generation, addresses range and charge anxiety for EV owners. Whether connected to the Cybertruck or another electric truck, the CyberTrailer allows for longer off-grid trips and extended travel beyond the reach of charging networks.
“The CyberTrailer Reduces Range Anxiety and Makes Off-Grid Travel with Electric Vehicles a Reality,” says Living Vehicle CEO and Founder Matthew Hofmann. “With Our Innovative Technology, Every Journey Can Become Limitless.”
Living Vehicle (LV) has introduced the CyberTrailer, a revolutionary trailer that eliminates range anxiety when towing with an EV. The company’s extensive engineering ensures “aerodynamic excellence,” reducing drag with both electric and gas-powered vehicles. The trailer features self-powered axles, enabling off-grid adventures and promoting environmental friendliness by reducing resource consumption.
While the interior of the CyberTrailer has not been revealed, it is expected to offer multi-functional spaces adorned with premium materials. Previous models in the lineup suggest that it will include an aluminum-heavy chef’s kitchen and a luxurious bathroom resembling a spa. The trailer will also feature a patented fold-down deck that doubles as a loading ramp.
Similar to other LV trailers, the CyberTrailer extends living space to the outdoors with a fold-down patio located at the rear. This versatile space can be transformed into a lounge or an outdoor kitchen. Additionally, the fold-down deck allows for easy loading of gear onto the trailer.
The CyberTrailer is equipped with 240V Level 2 charging capability, allowing for the recharge of gear from the trailer’s batteries. While the exact storage location for gear is not specified, LV mentions that it can accommodate items such as bikes, motorcycles, and scooters. This suggests that the CyberTrailer is not only a luxurious trailer but also a toy hauler, catering to adventurous and affluent customers.
Like all Living Vehicle trailers, the CyberTrailer will be produced in limited quantities. 80% of the available slots have already been allocated, indicating the high demand for this innovative product. Deliveries are scheduled for next year, with a starting price of $175,000. Reservations can be made with a refundable $100 deposit.
