It will be difficult for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team to replicate the 2023 season in MotoGP. With two victories – both by Marco Bezzecchi – Valentino Rossi’s squad finished third in both the riders’ and teams’ championships.
As the new season is about to begin, VR46 is already looking ahead. Team manager Pablo Nieto believes there is even greater potential with the 2023 version of the Ducati Desmosedici GP23, emphasizing to MotoGP.com the team’s total focus on this year:
– Last year we made an almost perfect season, we were fighting for the championship almost until the end. So we have to be very, very happy, but it’s already done. So we have to think about this year. It’s important to see the differences between the 2022 and 2023 bikes. It’s true that the difference is not so much, but is quite big. The potential is bigger than last year. And then is the bike from the world champion, from Pecco [Bagnaia]. So for that I think it’s good for us.
