Francesco Bagnaia, the current two-time world champion in the premier two-wheeled category, reflected on the season that ended a few weeks ago and is already recharging to defend the title in 2024.
To win the title, the Italian had to fight until the last race against Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati), assuring to the MotoGP website he likes the pressure he had:
– The pressure is a privilege. Without this feeling, without this sensation, you can’t enjoy. Winning or losing, having the possibility to be under pressure is great, it’s the best feeling possible. And I want to say thanks to Jorge to allow me to feel more this feeling.
Now, Bagnaia will have the chance to defend the title, but he expects a harder task in 2024: ‘It will be always more difficult. Next year we will have Marc [Márquez] with a Ducati, we’ll have Martín again, we’ll have [Marco] Bezzecchi, maybe [Fabio] Quartararo with thhe Yamaha, maybe [Franco] Morbidelli with a Ducati, KTM – it’s impossible to forget KTM’.
