The United States Grand Prix of Formula 1 has ended, and with it, there were some changes in the championship standings. However, nothing has significantly altered.
With the victory, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) reached 466 points, which is a new record for a single season. He is now 226 points ahead of his teammate Sergio Pérez, who, in turn, extended the gap to Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) to 39 points – thanks to the disqualification of the British driver.
Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) remains in fourth place, 18 points behind Hamilton, but saw his advantage over Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) decrease to 12 points. Lando Norris is now sixth with 159 points – eight more than Charles Leclerc (Ferrari). At the bottom of the table, Logan Sargeant (Williams) scored his first point to move up to 20th. Therefore, only Daniel Ricciardo (AlphaTauri) remains at zero points – apart from his predecessor Nyck de Vries, who is no longer in the field.
As for the constructors, Red Bull now has 706 points, 362 more than Mercedes, while Ferrari in fourth place is 22 points behind the German team. They also have 80 more points than McLaren, which is already six points ahead of Aston Martin in fourth. Alpine reached the hundred-point mark but remains in sixth place and is 136 points behind the top five. Behind them, Williams has only 26 points.
