This weekend marks the beginning of Miguel Oliveira’s first MotoGP season with Trackhouse Racing – the new satellite team for Aprilia, succeeding RNF where the rider competed last year.
In an interview with Sport TV, #88 spoke about the start of the season: ‘We have a different jersey, nothing coffee or spaghetti-proof; we’ll try to keep it white until the end of the season. No matter how used you are to being here in the world championship, the start is always more special; we are all very motivated and optimistic, so until it starts, that’s always the feeling. After finishing the last test with a slightly more positive note, obviously, we want to continue that evolution at the start of the season’.
On the other hand, Oliveira anticipated: ‘This short start to the championship and this transfer season are going to be quite aggressive; it’s going to make a lot of headlines in the press’.
