Jorge Martín (Pramac Ducati) is currently leading the MotoGP World Championship, but the field is filled with talent today. Names like Enea Bastianini, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), Marc Márquez (Gresini Ducati), Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3 KTM) populate a grid packed with stars.
A recurring question is who is the strongest rider currently. Max Biaggi was asked this question in an interview with Moto.it and replied:
– Well, then… according to what is written, Bagnaia seems the strongest because the world champion is the world champion, no excuses and end of story. Let’s see how it goes next year. But I see a great rise from Acosta; I don’t know if he’ll be ready next year. Then I see a strong recovery from Márquez.
Having said that, the former rider hopes that the 2025 season will be spectacular and sees Martín fighting at the top with Aprilia: ‘I’m not a fortune-teller like you [press], I can only hope for a great show in 2025 and especially see Martín up there fighting and having a strong pace as he usually does. That’s what I hope to see’.
