The MotoGP tests starting tomorrow at Losail will be the last for Luca Marini to adapt to the Honda RC213V before the start of the season at the Qatar Grand Prix. For this reason, they are very important, as they will also serve to begin preparing for that opening round.
On the eve of the first day of testing, the Italian said to the press: ‘This is also a track that I like, last year went very well. So I’m feeling good here. I need to understand the potential of our bike this year. I think is a bit different compared to last year. Everything is new, we have to understand a little bit’.
Marini considers that the Qatar test will be different, having also the GP in mind: ‘This test will be very different compared to Malaysia because we have a lot of stuff to try also here, but it will be planned also to prepare the race weekend – for everybody. I think this is the plan. I think the performance of everyone will be really high because we want to understand our speed and we want to prepare very well the first GP of the year’.
