Second in the MXGP world championship Tim Gajser is ready to ride in Trentino, once again in Italy after last week’s round at Riola Sardo. The slovenian is confident to give it another go on a very familiar like feeling place as is the track in Pietramurata.
On a team statement the Team HRC rider showed is happiness on riding in the upcoming round: ‘I am always excited to ride in Trentino. It is the closest race that I have to a ‘home’ GP and I know a lot of fans will make the trip from Slovenia to come and see me ride’.
Despite this not being his favourite place, it does give him a very good vibe: ‘While it isn’t necessarily my favourite circuit, I do like racing here purely because of the energy from the fans and just how loud and intense it can be. It also holds a lot of good memories for me and I’m excited to try and add to that this weekend’.
Gajser is second in the MXGP with 157 points, while Jorge Prado leads with 174.
