Toprak Razgatlioglu pulled off a surprise at the World Superbike test at Misano, breaking the official championship record at the Italian circuit by lapping in 1m32.535s.
Next week, WSBK will have the round at Misano, which marks the resumption of the season after a long break. And despite the impressive performance, the Turkish ROKiT BMW rider admitted to WorldSBK.com that he’s not entirely happy with the bike:
– I need more setup for the new swingarm. I feel too much rear grip, with the rear of the bike pushing the front. I rode my base bike with a SCQ tyre, and I did a 1m32.5s with the old swingarm
Detailing the behavior he didn’t like about the new swingarm, Razagatlioglu explained: ‘It jumps a lot because of too much rear grip. We also were unable to work on the suspension setup, because the Öhlins guys were sick’.
