Toprak Razgatlioglu was the fastest in the private tests of the Superbike World Championship held this week at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. The ROKiT BMW rider dictated the rhythm on the second day, where several MotoGP riders were also on the track with road bikes, including two-time champion Francesco Bagnaia, who was the fastest.
Approximately three and a half hours before the end, the Turkish rider was already leading, but the times improved during the afternoon, and he finished with a time of 1m39.189s on the 70th of the 74 laps completed. Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Ducati) was second, 0.086s behind, with Alex Lowes bringing the top Kawasaki to third. Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha) finished fourth ahead of Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW), while Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha) was sixth after leading at one point.
Two-time champion Álvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Ducati) had a subdued performance, finishing only 15th—considering only the best times of each rider, as some were timed with different bikes.
Among the MotoGP riders with production bikes, the fastest was Bagnaia (Ducati), in 31st place overall (22nd with only the best times of each rider). The Italian outpaced compatriot Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati) by 0.125s. Also on the track were brothers Álex and Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) – without timing information, Enea Bastianini (Ducati), Luca Marini (Repsol Honda), Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati), and Franco Morbidelli. The Prima Pramac rider suffered a fall in the early afternoon, causing some concern, but he did not sustain significant injuries.
