The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is set for a dramatic final race day at the Autodrom Most circuit in the Czech Republic. Following a thrilling Saturday, riders took to the track for a 10-minute Warm Up session under bright sunshine, setting the stage for potential last-minute shakeups.
Dominating the session once again, Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) continued his impressive form, aiming to win every session this weekend. Despite a couple of close calls, Razgatlioglu emerged unscathed, leading the charge across the finish line.
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) followed closely behind in second place, hoping to return to the podium after Saturday’s battles. Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) rounded out the top three, joined by Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team) and Garrett Gerloff (Bonovo Action BMW) in the top five.
Jonathan Rea (Pata Prometeon Yamaha) showed good pace on Sunday morning, securing sixth place and demoting reigning double World Champion Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) to seventh on Rea’s final flying lap.
The rest of the top ten included Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team), Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven), and Andrea Locatelli (Pata Prometeon Yamaha). Although struggling on Saturday, Honda showed signs of improvement with Iker Lecuona (Team HRC) and Xavi Vierge placing 12th and 14th, respectively.
Kawasaki, however, faced challenges with Axel Bassani (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) managing only 15th, while teammate Alex Lowes found himself back in 17th. This sets the stage for an exciting final race, with all eyes on Razgatlioglu as he attempts to secure his tenth consecutive win.
