Trackhouse Racing is one of the teams that has yet to close the line up for 2025, and the target is still to stay with Raúl Fernández and Miguel Oliveira but, if one of them is pretty much «guaranteed», that isn’t exactly the case for the other, which meant a comment from Davide Brivio, who addressed the situation.
Speaking to TNT Sports, the Team Manager of the US-based team made clear what is the current situation, in regards to the latest development on the market for the team:‘The priority is to talk with both of them. The reality is that we are quite close to Raúl. He’s happy to stay, we are happy with him. We think he has great potential. It has worked, this journey with him’.
With the portuguese rider in mind, the italian explained the situation isn’t has clear, given the interest and running talks with other teams: ‘We are also talking to Miguel. He has other options. We have to see where we can find the good balance point, and make him happy to stay. We are working on that’.
At this point there are no secrets, even more at a time that the market for experienced riders isn’t that big, just with a few names on the table: ‘Everybody knows, more or less, the market is quite clear. There is one expert rider available otherwise you have to go for a rookie’.
