This year marks the 75th anniversary of MotoGP, and one of the highlights of the celebrations will be the British GP from August 2 to 4. At Silverstone, all the bikes will feature vintage livery, something unprecedented in the history of the championship.
The liveries will be unveiled live during the MotoGP 75th Anniversary Special on August 1st – online and during a pitlane walk at Silverstone, with free access for those holding a Day of Champions paddock ticket for Thursday. The liveries will only be for the British round, with a retro touch inspired by a moment in the respective team’s history.
Never before have all the bikes on the grid had special livery simultaneously at the same GP. But it won’t just be the bikes: the safety car will also have a vintage look, as will the podium ceremony, and other events included in the British GP program.
It will be a grand return after about a month-long summer break, promising to keep fans glued to the screen and following the British GP in a spectacle very different from the usual.
