Last Saturday, Valentino Rossi made his debut in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) of motorsport, and the podium was not far away in the 1812km race in Qatar. The driver finished fourth in the LMGT3 category aboard the BMW #46 of Team WRT.
Il Dottore, who had Ahmad Al Harthy and Maxime Martin as teammates, was one of the protagonists in the fight for the top positions in the category, consistently in the top five from the start.
Rossi and his teammates managed to cross the finish line in a respectable fourth place, as the best BMW, finishing 12.647 seconds behind the lowest step of the podium, occupied by an Aston Martin from D’Station Racing.
