The first free practice session of the French MotoGP Grand Prix didn’t end well for Brad Binder. In the final minutes, he suffered a crash, which was the only one of the morning session in Le Mans.
The Red Bull KTM rider lost control at turn 11 while already leaned over, sliding into the gravel with the bike in front of him. There were no major physical consequences, but the bike suffered some damage.
At the time, there was roughly a minute left, and the situation caused a yellow flag that affected other riders, resulting in invalidated laps.
As for Binder, despite the crash, he still managed to stay in the top ten, posting the eighth fastest time, 0.521s behind leader Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati). You can watch the incident below.
