The battle for second place in the MotoGP French Grand Prix was intense. In fact, it was only decided on the last lap, in favor of Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati).
In what is his second podium in the main race, the Spaniard started from 13th, gradually recovering… until on the last lap, he didn’t hesitate to overtake Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).
It was Márquez’s final attempt to secure the position, and he succeeded, maintaining his trajectory after overtaking the Italian rival in an impressive maneuver.
