There are incidents that are hard to understand, and this is one of them. It happened on the fifth lap of the Moto2 Thai Grand Prix, and the one who triggered it was Jake Dixon.
The British rider from Inde GasGas Aspar was battling for fifth place with Celestino Vietti (Fantic Racing/Kalex) when he clearly braked too late in turn three at Buriram.
The result was a collision with Vietti’s motorcycle and a heavy crash. The Italian rider also fell, but both of them walked away from the scene without significant physical injuries.
