The first half of the MotoGP Malaysian Grand Prix practice is proving positive for the Márquez brothers, who, at the time of writing this article, are both in the top three of the timing sheet.
In the early minutes of the session, a moment could have meant a very different practice for the future teammates at Gresini.
Álex Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) was ahead of Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) in the last corner of Sepang when he slightly lost control. It was a close call as a collision between them narrowly avoided, as you can see below.
