The MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix was going well for Miguel Oliveira. With rain appearing early in the race, the Portuguese rider was in pursuit of a podium finish.
When he was in fourth place, with a chance to move up further in the order, water inside his helmet significantly affected his visibility, to the point where he had to enter the garage and retire.
This happened just moments before the red flag was raised, letting Oliveira understandably frustrated. Nevertheless, he was still classified in 18th place and was allowed to line up for the restart… which, in the end, did not happen.
