This weekend, Remy Gardner was called up by Monster Energy Yamaha to replace the injured Álex Rins for the German GP in MotoGP, making a temporary return to the premier class.
The action on the Sachsenring track only begins tomorrow, Friday, but preparations are already underway. The Australian had the opportunity to make his first visit to the box where he will be working until Sunday.
During this visit, Gardner interacted with the team members who will be supporting him, checked out the YZR-M1 with his #87, and familiarized himself with the workspaces awaiting him.
It’s worth noting that Gardner competes in the World Superbike Championship with GYTR GRT Yamaha. He was in MotoGP in 2022 with Tech3, but the results and performances fell short of expectations, and he did not secure a place to continue.
