Marc Márquez is one of the most notable signings in Ducati’s history since it debuted in MotoGP in 2003 – if not the most important and boldest of all.
However, in the past, other top riders have also ridden for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer after they had already made a name for themselves. The most evident case was Valentino Rossi in 2010, leaving behind an era of success with Yamaha.
He was not the only one. Jorge Lorenzo made the same move in 2017, while riders like Casey Stoner and Francesco Bagnaia built their names while riding for Ducati. Nicky Hayden also had a stint with the team.
In the following video, you can recall the journey of each of these riders with Ducati, from Stoner, who was the first to win a championship with the manufacturer, to Bagnaia, who brought the Desmosedici GP back to the titles.
