This Friday, Adrián Huertas dominated the Superpole of the World Supersport Championship at Phillip Island, securing the pole position. However, he risked not being able to enjoy that position at the start of the races.
Just after setting the fastest lap, with about two and a half minutes remaining, the Spanish rider from Aruba.it Ducati suffered a violent highside. He was shaken and sat in the gravel for a few moments.
Subsequently, Huertas was taken to the circuit’s medical center, where he was eventually declared fit to continue. It was a scary moment, which you can see in the following video.
