VW is celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of the brand’s most iconic models, the Golf, which has sold over 37 million units since its launch.
The Golf Edition 50 is an anniversary edition based on the recent 8th generation update of the popular model and comes with additional standard equipment.
Thus, the anniversary version of the VW Golf features 18” “Leeds” alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, an illuminated horizontal stripe on the radiator grille, as well as a 3D emblem of the 50-year anniversary on the B-pillars. Optional features include a tilting and sliding panoramic roof and a lighting system with Full LED matrix (IQ.Light) headlights.
Inside, the highlights include the new MIB4 infotainment system, which features a 12.9″ touchscreen with navigation function, IDA voice assistant with natural commands, and ChatGP.
In addition, this anniversary edition also features a multifunction steering wheel, brushed stainless steel pedals, black headliner, specific door sills, keyless access, driving mode selector, alarm, and anniversary logo on the front panel trims.
The special 50th anniversary edition of the VW Golf will only be available in the five-door version and equipped with the 1.5 TSI four-cylinder turbo engine with 150 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission.
